On additional analysis, I believe that I’ve discovered the supply of the issue. As shown within the attached picture, the true problem is that the pinion gears don’t mesh closely sufficient with the primary gear. This is as a result of the motors are not secured in place with motor mounts. As a result, the pinion gears and main gear slip and wear one another out. I think that this is a drawback that Hosim could remedy fairly simply.

This happened to the primary one I purchased, they changed it with one other one and the identical thing occurred. In each instances it only lasted about a month before it became useless so it is not definitely worth the money. I was contacted by the corporate and so they provided to ship me a substitute truck free of charge.

This is a toy for my canine so he can chase it and be chased by it and get exercise, he loves this RC truck. Between my poor driving expertise and Sam throwing it round when and if he catches it, we are very tough on this truck. The first one lasted over two years with our abuse so to me it’s very durable, especially for the money. I made my own repair which was to drill two holes near the pinion gear finish of the motor on the outside of the motors. I then ran a wire around the outside of the chassis & motors and twisted the ends collectively on the within between the motors.

I don’t suppose the nylon gear is a matter so long as the gears mesh properly. I will update the review as I actually have extra experience with the repair.

Our custom toolboxes and truck toolboxes are constructed to last. I bought a second Hosim RC as a result of I was so please with the primary one.

When you inevitably crash it, it will not properly steer and will only go forwards and backwards. Seems to be a connectivity issue with the distant because typically it stutters while attempting to go forwards and backwards too.
